Tashkent-Global law firm Dentons has advised on Asyad Group's strategic acquisition of a stake in Universal Logistics Services (ULS) and Highway Logistics Center (HLC), leading logistics platforms in Uzbekistan, as part of its strategy to expand its global footprint and strengthen international trade corridors.
The transaction marks a significant step in enhancing multimodal logistics capabilities in Central Asia. It supports Asyad Group's vision of building an integrated logistics network connecting key trade routes between the Middle East and Central Asia, while reinforcing Uzbekistan's position as a rapidly emerging regional logistics and distribution hub.
By investing in Uzbekistan's logistics infrastructure, Asyad Group aims to further develop efficient cross-border supply chains, improve connectivity, and facilitate trade flows across the region. The transaction also aligns with broader efforts to deepen economic ties and transport linkages between Oman and Central Asia.
Dentons acted as legal advisor on the transaction, providing comprehensive support across all aspects of the cross-border deal, including both Uzbek and English law advice related to the preparation and negotiation of the transaction documents and due diligence. Tashkent-based partners Ulugbek Abdullaev and Fayzulla Khusankhodjaev and Frankfurt-based counsel Mikhail Panferov led the deal, supported by senior associates Mokhichekhra Abdullaeva and Latofat Rakhmanova, as well as, associate Mekhriniso Djumanazarova.
