Guadalupe Teen Court is a nonprofit organization with a community-based, youth-driven diversion program that highlights restorative justice. Our teen restorative justice advocates volunteer in different courtroom roles to provide first-time offenders an alternative to the traditional justice system. At Guadalupe Teen Court, young offenders are held accountable by a jury of their peers, while gaining valuable insights into the legal system and accountability.

Operated in collaboration with Maricopa County Juvenile Probation Department and the Town of Guadalupe, Guadalupe Teen Court empowers local teens to serve as jurors, judges, attorneys and bailiffs in order to reduce negative behavior. In addition to fostering civic engagement, Guadalupe Teen Court promotes leadership development, critical thinking, and community responsibility.

By focusing on education, restorative justice and positive peer influence, the Guadalupe Teen Court not only reduces recidivism but strengthens the community and supports the growth of future leaders. All community youth between 13-18 years old are welcome to join!
