Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the “Global Sumud Flotilla” (18.05.2026)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring developments and has made a démarche to the Israeli authorities, requesting that all necessary measures be taken to ensure the safety of the Greek citizens participating in the "Global Sumud Flotilla".
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains in constant communication with the Embassy of Greece in Tel Aviv, which is on full alert to provide any necessary consular assistance.
