The City of Chula Vista is inviting residents aged 55 and older to participate in the Age in Place Chula Vista - Housing Affordability Survey, an important effort to better understand the housing needs, challenges and resources that help older adults remain stable and thrive in their communities.
This survey will help inform future housing stability initiatives, program design and funding decisions focused on aging in place and homelessness prevention. The effort also supports the broader goals of Age-Friendly Chula Vista & Healthy Chula Vista initiatives by centering older adult voices in housing policy and planning.
The survey will be open from February 2 through March 8 to ensure broad participation. It is anonymous, takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete, and is available both online and on paper by request. Chula Vista residents aged 55 and older are encouraged to take part.
To maximize community outreach, the City will share the survey link and flyer through trusted community-based service providers, nonprofit partners, property managers at rental communities and mobile home parks, as well as through official City communications and community networks.
Surveys may be taken online at www.cvcommunityvoices.com/ageinplace or paper surveys will be available at City Hall - Housing and Homeless Services Department at 276 Fourth Ave., Building A. Residents can contact the department directly at 619-691-5047 for more information or to request a paper version of the survey.
