In recognition of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Tampa City Councilman Luis Viera will join local disability advocates and community members for a special flag-raising ceremony at Old City Hall on Thursday, October 23, at 8:30 a.m.
By raising the Down Syndrome Awareness flag above City Hall, the City aims to help raise awareness, break down barriers, and promote advocacy for people with Down Syndrome and their families.
