DEXSTA Federal Credit Union recently presented a $1,657.50 donation to Johns Hopkins Children's Center, supporting vital programs that help make hospital stays more comfortable for young patients and their families.
These funds directly enhance the patient experience by providing resources that bring a sense of home and warmth during care.
During their visit, the DEXSTA team toured the Johns Hopkins campus with Michael Hillman, learning about the hospital's exciting plans for the future-including a new Children's Medical and Surgical Center scheduled to open in 2026. The upcoming facility will feature advanced research labs and new collaboration spaces to further support innovative pediatric care.
In addition, DEXSTA presented another $1,657.50 donation to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). A tour of CHOP's expanding campus, led by Donald Ballou, showcased the remarkable progress of the Roberts Children's Health new inpatient tower, set to open in 2028. Once complete, the 26-story structure will be the tallest in the West Philadelphia skyline and a world-class destination for pediatric health.
DEXSTA extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who made these donations possible, from members who contributed through the July Skip-A-Pay promotion, to Leigh Philibosian of CU Miracle Day and John Bratsakis, CEO of MD|DC Credit Union Association, for coordinating these impactful visits.
