Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department are investigating this as a homicide.
The child that was located inside the vehicle is safe and is being cared for by family members.

Vancouver, Wash. - This morning at around 4:25 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to the 300 block of N. Blandford Drive for the report of a deceased woman in a car. When officers arrived, they located a female inside the car deceased, and a small child inside the car that did not appear to be physically injured.
The Vancouver Police Department Major Crime Team is investigating.
