Stop Order Issued to ND Registered AI Company

Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread issued a stop order to Shayan Mashatian and his companies, Silverberry Group, LLC and WoundScribe AI Corp.

These companies were soliciting investments without properly registering their company in accordance with North Dakota Century Code. The North Dakota Insurance and Securities Department issued the order to protect investors.

"North Dakotans are not immune to investment fraud and scams," Godfread said. "Our department is here to help residents who encounter potential investment-related issues."

Silverberry Group is a medical AI technology company that was registered in Grand Forks in 2022. Silverberry Group was converted to WoundScribe Al, a Delaware corporation, in 2025. They have the right to request a hearing before the Commissioner within 15 days of receiving the order.

"Before making any investment, ask questions and make sure you fully understand the investment and the individuals or entities offering it," Godfread said. "Taking these steps can help you make informed decisions and identify potential warning signs of fraud."
