First White House national climate adviser reflects on impact of investing in a sustainable future

EVENT: The University of Michigan School of Public Health's Ahead of the Curve speaker series will feature a virtual conversation with Gina McCarthy, the first-ever White House national climate adviser. McCarthy and SPH Dean F. DuBois Bowman will discuss her vision for a sustainable future and transforming America's climate future.

Under President Biden, McCarthy led an ambitious climate action plan around a clean energy revolution that created new jobs and sparked innovation. McCarthy, whose journey took her from EPA administrator to the White House, is considered one of the nation's most influential voices on climate change, environmental policy and public health.
