Amanda Clements Named Vice President for Communications

Tallahassee State College (TSC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Clements to the position of Vice President for Communications. Clements assumes this role effective immediately, bringing a deep-rooted commitment to the College and a proven track record of leadership in the field of communications.

A Tallahassee native and graduate of Florida State University, Clements joined the Office of Communications and Marketing in 2021. As Director of Communications, she played a key role in the College's rebranding and led major initiatives, including a student-focused digital engagement strategy and a strengthened storytelling approach that elevated the College's visibility across social media and beyond.

Prior to joining TSC, she held leadership roles at Cumulus Broadcasting, VISIT FLORIDA, United Way of the Big Bend, and Coton Colors. Deeply engaged in the community, Clements is a graduate of Leadership Tallahasseeand has served on the boards of the Junior League of Tallahassee, Council on Culture & Arts (COCA),and the Tallahassee Museum. The Tallahassee Democrat recognized her as one of the 25 Women You Need to Know in 2015.

At the College, Clements is a graduate of the President's Leadership Institute and a 2023 NISOD Excellence Award recipient. She is a member of the planning committee for Cleaver and Cork, TSC Foundation's signature culinary event series and scholarship fundraiser. She recently earned a master's degree in public relations from the University of Southern Mississippi.

In her new role, Clements will provide strategic oversight for communications and marketing, including brand management, media relations, and digital engagement. She will continue to champion initiatives that elevate TSC's reputation and showcase student success.
