ST. LOUIS (Jan. 16, 2025) … Delta Dental of Missouri - the state's dental benefits leader and a non-profit organization, which also does business in South Carolina as Delta Dental of South Carolina - has elected two new members to its Board of Directors. Tamara Sheffield, chief financial officer and senior vice president of human resources at Forest Park Forever, Inc., who resides in Chesterfield, Mo., and Patricia Britton, vice president of digital transformation at Hillenbrand, who resides in Fort Mill, S.C., will each serve a three-year term.
Sheffield joined Forest Park Forever, Inc., a private, non-profit conservancy in St. Louis in 2011, and leads its finance and administrative services functions. Throughout her career, she has held financial and operational leadership positions spanning various sectors, including biotechnology, retail and financial services, where she managed complex projects and organizational growth for a multi-billion-dollar public international company and several private companies. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society for Human Resource Management. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting from Saint Louis University.
Britton has served as a member of the Delta Dental of South Carolina Advisory Board since 2023. She has more than three decades of executive leadership experience. Her multidisciplinary background spans technology, sales, marketing and innovation with a focus on using technology to drive business results. In her current role as head of digital transformation at Hillenbrand, a public global equipment manufacturer, she is responsible for leading digital strategy and global centers of excellence for data and analytics, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Loyola University in Baltimore.
