Norton Rose Fulbright has been named to this year's Fortune Best Workplaces for Women list. The firm stood as one of just two law firms on the list of 100 large companies.
This honor is based on feedback from US personnel who participated in a confidential third-party survey last fall, earning the firm Great Place to Work certification this year. To be certified, companies must surpass rigorous benchmarks based on their ability to offer consistently positive experiences and build trust within their organizations.
To determine the Fortune Best Workplaces for Women list, Great Place to Work analyzed survey responses from more than 600,000 women who work for certified companies. A company must have at least 50 women employees, at least 20 percent of non-executive managers who are women and at least one woman C-suite executive to be eligible.
In their survey responses, Norton Rose Fulbright's personnel indicated an appreciation for the firm's people-first culture, noting collegiality among team members as well as a management group who promotes a healthy work-life balance. The firm's flexible work programs and parental policies were also mentioned as highlights by respondents.
"We are truly honored to receive this prestigious recognition in our first year of participating in the Great Place to Work program," said Jeff Cody, Norton Rose Fulbright's Global and US Managing Partner. "We value our people and continually look for ways to make their work experience both positive and fulfilling."
Great Place to Work has more than three decades of experience in employee research and data to enhance the workplace experience. This survey assessed the workplace culture with a focus on credibility, respect, fairness, pride and sense of belonging.
