Penn State Altoona faculty contributes to global study on fish cognition

ALTOONA, Pa. - Cairsty DePasquale, associate professor of biology at Penn State Altoona, is the co-author of two articles published in a special issue of the Journal of Fish Biology.

"Measuring fish cognition: empirical-based guidance for designing cognition assays" is a collection of scientific articles that address critical methodological challenges in fish cognition research.

DePasquale co-authored the editorial article along with fish experts across the globe. She also co-authored the review article "Lessons in cognition: A review of maze designs and procedures used to measure spatial learning in fish."
