St. Davids, PA: Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University is excited to announce that its Doctor of Ministry in Contextual Leadership (DMin)will now be available in a 100% online LifeFlex format. The full degree costs only $11,880, making it an accessible and affordable option for anyone seeking a doctoral level education in ministry.
The program is designed for professional church and parachurch leaders interested in holistic renewal of communities with a desire to deepen their knowledge, skills and personal relationship with God, long for renewal in their ministry setting, treasure the support of fellow leaders, and recognize the relationship between the spiritual life of the leader and the renewal of the community.
"This program provides a unique opportunity for ministry leaders to grow academically and spiritually without sacrificing time with their families or stepping away from their current roles," says Dr. Deb Winters, Professor and Program Director for the Doctor of Ministry Program. "The fully online format allows students to engage in transformative learning while remaining deeply rooted in their communities and ministries."
The DMin offers an academically rigorous 36-credit curriculum, faculty who are committed to training church leaders for transformative ministry, and the option to pursue specific concentrations including Religion and Public Policy, Personal and Spiritual Transformation, or Prophetic Preaching and Teaching. Students can enroll in this program starting in Fall of 2025 and scholarshipsare available for qualifying students.
Eastern University's popular LifeFlexmodality provides 100% online, flexible courses that allow students to work at their own pace. There are no required class times, so students can watch video lectures and complete assignments when it is convenient for their schedules. Synchronous online meetings will be offered so students have the opportunity to engage in live discussions.
