Stormwater Diversion Channel Crossing Lane Closures
FARGO, N.D. - Short term lane closures are planned for two areas within the stormwater diversion channel right of way this week.
First, a lane closure on County Road 20 at the crossing over the channel will be in place Tuesday, October 27, 2026, through Thursday, October 29, 2026. This closure is necessary for curb and gutter work. These dates are dependent on weather conditions and may change.
Second, a lane closure on County Road 4 between 171st Avenue SE and County Road 31 will be in place Thursday, October 29, 2026, through Saturday, October 31, 2026. This closure is necessary for repair of soft spots in the road. These dates are dependent on weather conditions and may change.
The lane closures will only be in place during daylight hours. Flaggers will be in place to coordinate traffic through the closures. Delays are expected as traffic will come to a stop to navigate through the lane closure. The public is asked to allow extra time and remain alert to changing conditions when driving through this construction zone.
