During the special, Billy also talks about the song. "Gods Of Rock N Roll" premiered on the SiriusXM channel on Friday, January 17, and is a re-recorded version of the track from 2015 that includes a 61-piece orchestra and choir and a guest appearance by longtime Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens.

The original "Gods Of Rock N Roll" closed out Billy's second album, "God Shaped Hole" (2015).
