Maryland Department of Transportation Brings Statewide Investment Tour to Worcester, Somerset, Wicomico, Carroll, Howard, Washington, Allegany and Garrett Counties

​WHAT:

Representatives from the Maryland Department of Transportation will meet with local elected officials this week to discuss the Moore-Miller Administration's Draft Consolidated Transportation Program for Fiscal Years 2027 to 2032, which details a $21.9 billion, six-year capital budget investment in the state's transportation network. The meetings are part of the Department's annual tour visiting every Maryland county and Baltimore City to update local elected officials and the public.

Each fall, the Maryland Department of Transportation presents its draft six-year capital program to Maryland counties and Baltimore City for review and comment. After gathering input from local jurisdictions, the Department will submit the Final Fiscal Years 2027-2032 Consolidated Transportation Program to the Legislature in January for consideration during the 2027 General Assembly session.
