Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2100 Patterson Street

January 13, 2025- Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 2100 Patterson Street after a vehicle was found in a bayou about 1:50 p.m. last Friday (January 10).

The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer R. Leibold reported:

Officers responded to the above address after a red Toyota Corolla was found upside down in the bayou north of the dead-end near Patterson Street.

The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and located a deceased male in the vehicle.

It is believed the crash happened sometime after 5:10 p.m. on Thursday (Jan. 9) and that the vehicle went off the roadway, rolled multiple times and then entered the bayou.

At this time, the circumstances of the crash have not been determined.
