OLLI at MSU to host fall semester reception on Aug. 25

BOZEMAN - The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Montana State University will host a fall semester reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Hope Lutheran Church, 2152 W. Graf St., in Bozeman. The event is free and open to the public.   

OLLI at MSU offers a variety of noncredit courses, lectures, tours, book discussion groups, public forums and other activities for individuals ages 50 and older. It is a program of MSU's Academic Technology and Outreach.   

"The reception is a great time to meet and connect with fellow lifelong learners and learn about the diverse range of topics and programs OLLI is offering this fall semester," said Bobbi Geise, director of OLLI at MSU. "All are welcome."

The reception will bring together community members from the Gallatin Valley and beyond to learn about upcoming educational programs and events, meet instructors and view prerecorded presentations from fall course leaders. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.   

Volunteers and staff will be present to answer attendee questions about the fall semester schedule and registration. Registration opens on Wednesday, Aug. 26 - attendees will not be able to register at the reception.
