Overview of the main topics and events at the Council of EU and European Council for the coming fortnight.

Foreign Affairs Council (Trade), 26-29 March 2026

The Foreign Affairs Council, in its Trade configuration, will be held on the margins of the 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Trade ministers will seek approval of conclusions both at the start and at the end of the conference, and to adopt a decision on the position to be taken on behalf of the EU at the conference.

Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 30 March 2026

Ministers will exchange views on the energy transition in the EU fisheries and aquaculture sectors, as well as on agriculture and food. Agriculture ministers will also discuss trade-related issues and recent developments.
