Amo Honors Rhode Island Veterans at Third Annual Resource Fair and BBQ

Warren, RI - Congressman Gabe Amo (D-RI) hosted his third annual Veterans Resource Fair and Barbecue at Pete Sepe Pavilion in Warren, bringing together Rhode Island Veterans, military families, and organizations that serve the Veteran community.

A day of food and fun, the event brought together the military community with Veterans advocacy organizations, health care providers, and education and support groups from across Rhode Island. Veterans and their families enjoyed a barbecue lunch and had the opportunity to connect directly with Veterans service organizations (VSOs).

"We owe Rhode Islanders who have served our nation in uniform and their families a lifetime of gratitude for their sacrifices in defense of our values and democracy," said Congressman Gabe Amo (D-RI). "It was an honor to spend time with Veterans and their families at today's barbecue to thank them for their service and help connect them with the resources they've earned. If you or a Veteran you know is having trouble getting help from a federal agency, my office is here to help."
