Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert's Public Safety Building, home to the Gilbert Police Department's headquarters, located at 75 E Civic Center Drive, will have two temporary closures in the coming days due to an emergency water main repair.
Systems Prep Work: Tuesday, August 11, 1:00-4:30 AM
Crews will test the systems ahead of the planned permanent repair. The Public Safety Building will be closed to the public during this time. Gilbert Police Department's teleserve services, including filing police reports for minor incidents and bond payments, will temporarily relocate to the San Tan Substation, located at 2332 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297.
Permanent Repair: August 14, 5:00 AM - August 16, 6:00 PM
During the permanent repair, the Public Safety Building will again be closed from Friday, August 14, at 5:00 AM, through Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Gilbert Police Department's teleserve services, including filing police reports for minor incidents and bond payments, will temporarily relocate to the San Tan Substation, located at 2332 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297.
All police, dispatch, and emergency services will remain fully available throughout both closures.
