Mrvan Statement on Iran

Washington, DC- Today, Rep. Frank J. Mrvan released the following statement on Iran.

"The President's unilateral actions in Iran are wrong, and his dangerous rhetoric is making a bad situation worse. While I recognize the Administration's announcement of a ceasefire, the fact remains that there was no imminent threat, no clear objectives, no end in sight, and our servicemembers continue to be placed in harm's way. My constituents share my outrage over both his words and his actions, and they're feeling the consequences at the gas pump and grocery store. I have supported legislation to prevent an open-ended military engagement and will continue working with my colleagues to hold this Administration accountable."
