CMS Requests Information on Medicaid Payment Fraud

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) seeks stakeholder feedback on potential regulatory changes to address fraud in health care in a new RFI Related to Comprehensive Regulations to Uncover Suspicious Healthcare (CRUSH). CMS is requesting information on Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and services to immigrants.

Specifically, CMS wants to address fraud, waste, and abuse related to nonfederal financing sources, supplement payments, state directed payments, Section 1115 waivers, and ineligible immigrants accessing Medicaid and CHIP services.

Comments are due March 30.
