Summer/Fall 2026 Priority Registration Begins
Starting Monday, April 20
Priority registration for the Summer & Fall 2026 terms starts on April 20, 2026. All continuing students are assigned a registration date, so please check the Student Portal to find your registration date.

This documentary is about an LGBTQ+ Latina who persevered through police violence, trauma, and systemic barriers to ultimately become a firefighter. Genocide Remembrance Day - Holiday
Friday, April 24
LAVC is closed to observe Genocide Remembrance Day. Saturday classes will take place on Saturday, April 25. Weekday classes will resume and college services will reopen on Monday, April 27.

TRIO Student Support Services Now Accepting Applications
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is now accepting applications. TRIO provides academic advising, tutoring resources, transfer support, and financial literacy workshops for eligible students. Valley Academic and Cultural Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Wednesday, April 29 at 12 p.m. at the VACC
Join us as we celebrate the opening of our Valley Academic & Cultural Center. This building is the new home of the Media Arts, and Theater & Dance departments. It has classrooms, study and rehearsal spaces, newsroom, podcast and radio station, four separate theaters, and more.
