For National Customer Service Week, CenterPoint Energy highlights actions taken to enhance Hoosiers' customer experience, including improving the average call center wait time to less than one minute.
EVANSVILLE - October 7, 2026 - Today, during National Customer Service Week, CenterPoint Energy highlighted a series of actions to improve customer experience, including reducing its call center wait time by approximately 95 percent. This improvement resulted in an average wait time of less than one minute for Hoosier customers. Other actions include hosting in-person customer support services, energy efficiency improvement programs and bill credits through energy-saving programs.
"We've heard our customers' feedback loud and clear and are committed to providing the exceptional customer service they expect and deserve.
