Ministerial Visits to NAPE Booth at NIES 2026

We are pleased to report that the NAPE booth received strategic visits from both the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, and the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, during NIES 2026.

The visits provided an excellent opportunity to showcase NAPE's initiatives, ongoing programs, and engagement with industry stakeholders. Both Ministers engaged with the NAPE leadership team, discussing key industry priorities (exploration activity, data-driven decision making, reserves growth, domestic gas utilization, and capacity-building programs), and the Association's role in driving sustainable development in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.

These interactions reinforce NAPE's position as a committed, trusted technical and policy partner and highlight our proactive engagement with government, industry operators, and stakeholders to advance the exploration growth, and energy security.

We thank all members who contributed to the successful hosting of these distinguished guests and look forward to leveraging these interactions to further strengthen industry collaboration.
