Route 5 in Wright and Laclede Counties Reduced for Guardrail Repairs and Asphalt Over…

SIKESTON- Route 5 in Wright and Laclede counties will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform guardrail repairs and overlay the asphalt.

This section of roadway is located from Route 60 in Wright County to Route J in Laclede County.

Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, Oct. 2 through Sunday, Nov. 30 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

As work is underway the work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
