DNC Statement on Latina’s Equal Pay Day Arrow

In recognition of Latina's Equal Pay Day, DNC Chair Ken Martin and DNC Vice Chair Artie Blanco released the following statement:

"Today is Latina Equal Pay Day - a stark reminder that Latinas are still paid just 52 cents for every dollar paid to white men. That gap isn't closing - it's being made worse by Donald Trump's reckless economic policies that enrich billionaires while hardworking families fall further behind.

"Latinas and the broader Latino community are feeling the pressure - from rising prices at the pump and grocery store to stagnant wages and job insecurity. Under Trump, the cost of living keeps climbing, and Latino voters are taking note.

"Recent polls show over 70% of Latino voters blame Trump's tariffs for rising prices. A majority say the economy is getting worse. On Latina Equal Pay Day, the message is clear: Trump's policies aren't working for our communities."
