North Central Region Units Participate in Annual Wreaths Across America Day

Members and units from across all seven states of North Central Region participated in the annual Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 13, 2025, recognizing the service and sacrifices of veterans and their families. Bravo Zulu to our members for again participating in this worthy annual event!

This year, 3.1 million veterans' wreaths were sponsored at 5,598 participating locations nationwide with the help of millions of volunteers, nearly a third of them children, across all 50 states and abroad. The following are some activities across NCR.

Iowa Wing
Members of the Southwest Iowa Composite Squadron participated in the wreath laying at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Kansas Wing
New Century Composite Squadron laid wreaths at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS.

Lawrence Composite Squadron laid wreaths at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.

Minnesota Wing
Members of the Viking Composite Squadron laid wreaths at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. (Performed on December 16 due to extreme winter weather.)

Missouri Wing
Members of the Sedalia Cadet Flight organized the Wreaths Across America event for the first time in Sedalia, MO.

Springfield Regional Composite Squadron participated at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO.

Combined effort by Platte Valley and Harry S. Truman Composite Squadrons color guard and wreath presentation at Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.

Members of the Wentzville Composite Squadron placed wreaths at Eternal Peace Cemetery in Wentzville, MO, and the Wright City Cemetery in Wright City, MO.

St. Louis Composite Squadron placed wreaths at the Bellerive Gardens Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

Ft. Leonard Wood Composite Squadron placed wreaths at the Ft Leonard Wood Post Cemetery, Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.

Col. Travis Hoover Composite Squadron members honored veterans at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, MO.

Nebraska Wing
Members of the 155th Composite Squadron laid wreaths at the Wyuka Historic Cemetery in Lincoln, NE.

Lee Bird Composite Squadron laid wreaths at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE.

North Dakota Wing
Members of the Bismarck Composite Squadron helped unload and place wreaths at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.

Members of the Magic City Composite Squadron laid wreaths at the Rosehill Memorial Cemetery in Minot, ND.

South Dakota Wing
Lincoln County and Crazy Horse Composite Squadrons braved the bitter cold to lay wreaths at the South Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Sioux Falls, SD.
