Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued

Marion County Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water notice for all customers in the Pine Run community and SW 105th Street due to a water main break and valve install. The water will be turned off today, July 27, 2026, at 3:00pm, and will be restored as soon as the work is completed.

Affected customers are advised to bring water intended for consumption to a rapid boil for at least one minute until this precautionary notice is lifted. As an alternative, bottled water may be used for these purposes, which include drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.

Water used for laundry, bathing, and/or showering does not need to be boiled.

Utilities will perform water testing per regulations from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and will advise the above-listed customers once this boil water notice is lifted.
