Meeting with the Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye

On June 2, 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Sodiq Imomi met with the Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye and Co-Chair of the Joint Tajikistan-Türkiye Commission on Economic Cooperation, Mehmet Fatih Kacır.

During the talks, the sides reviewed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, including the preparatory process for the upcoming session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

With a view to strengthening ties, the parties emphasized the necessity of convening phased bilateral meetings of sectoral experts, both in-person and virtually (online), across priority sectors of mutual interest. Furthermore, the interlocutors expressed their readiness to facilitate the exchange of business delegations to Tajikistan and Türkiye following these meetings.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere of mutual understanding.
