AJC Concerned About Social Media Statements Sowing Division Between U.S. Allies in the Arabian Gulf

We are concerned by recent irresponsible Arab social media posts that seem intent on sowing misunderstanding and division between U.S. allies in the Arabian Gulf, undermining the Abraham Accords, and promoting conspiracy narratives about Israel and Jews. The United Arab Emirates has demonstrated courageously that regional engagement and normalization can advance security, innovation, and economic growth. Attempts to label the UAE as acting on behalf of Israel or "Zionists" are false, dishonorable, and distract from the real strategic choices facing the region. Differences should not obscure opportunities before Arab leaders to deepen integration, strengthen stability, and confront common challenges. The path forward lies not in recrimination, but in pragmatic cooperation and dialogue that benefits the entire region.
