Pueblo, CO - On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at approximately 11:44 a.m., Pueblo Police received a call for service regarding a domestic disturbance involving weapons in the 0 - 100 block of Glen Royal Drive, the suspect was making threats to harm members of his family. Officers responded to the scene and observed a male suspect with a gun.
After failing to comply with commands to drop his weapon, an officer fired a single shot, striking the suspect. The suspect was declared deceased on scene.
No Pueblo Police officers or citizens were injured as a result of this incident.
The 10th Judicial District CIRT (Critical Incident Response Team), led by Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has been activated and will conduct the investigation. The Pueblo County Coroner will identify the deceased suspect after appropriate notifications. No additional information will be released at this time.
