NTCA Launches Business Operations Summit to Expand Access to Key Educational Programming, Foster Industry Innovation and Collaboration on Evolving Business Challenges

NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association today announced the launch of the NTCA Business Operations Summit, a new half-day virtual event designed to help rural broadband providers address evolving business challenges by expanding access to the association's specialty educational programming and creating new opportunities for collaboration among rural broadband industry professionals in critical operating segments.

Scheduled for February 4, 2027, the summit will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern and bring together executives, operational leaders, and industry solution providers to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping rural broadband operations. The event will offer targeted educational content, practical case studies, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities through the lens of key business and operational functions.

"As we all work to operate more efficiently and effectively, we must keep evolving our approach to core business functions," said NTCA CEO Mike Romano."NTCA already provides terrific segmented educational content through in-person conferences aimed at key functional areas like marketing and sales, HR and benefits, finance and accounting, and cybersecurity. The NTCA Business Operations Summit will build upon these offerings by extending virtual access to specialty conference programming to more staff across these essential functions and providing time for attendees to share ideas and learn from one another. Having seen how well this format works through our virtual AI Summit earlier this year, we are especially excited about the prospect of making this content accessible to operational staff who may not typically be in position to attend in-person conferences, which we hope will support broader team participation."

The NTCA Business Operations Summit reflects NTCA's ongoing commitment to delivering specialized educational programming that helps members innovate and address evolving business challenges. In addition to educational sessions, attendees will gain exposure to real-world examples of operational solutions currently being implemented by rural broadband providers, offering actionable ideas and proven approaches that can be adapted within their own organizations. By bringing together perspectives from across the broadband ecosystem and adjacent industries, the summit will offer a broad, practical view of operational excellence while staying focused on the unique needs of rural broadband providers.

The Business Operations Summit is for:

  • C-suite executives seeking strategies to address organization-wide operational challenges or share successful initiatives;
  • Department leaders and key operational staff looking for practical guidance, best practices, and peer insights within their functional areas; and
  • Vendor partners interested in showcasing products and services while building relationships with rural broadband providers.

Registration details, program information, and speaker announcements will be released in the coming months. If you have expertise or specific ideas for sessions you would like to see presented at the summit, you may submit a session proposal or topic idea through the program submission form.
