Southbound I-805 Connector to Westbound I-8 Closed Sunday

SAN DIEGO - Crews will close the southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector to westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) Sunday, March 22, from 3:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for electrical work.

Southbound I-805 motorists may continue to the El Cajon Boulevard off-ramp, turn left to the northbound I-805 on-ramp, then connect to westbound I-8.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
