In October of 2024, Eugene Police Street Crimes Unit (EPD SCU) assisted the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team (DINT) with a drug investigation. Based on surveillance conducted, EPD SCU and DINT observed the DINT suspect arrive in the 2700 block of Elysium Avenue and depart. DINT stopped their suspect in Douglas County and ultimately seized approximately two pounds of suspected methamphetamine. Based on DINT results, EPD SCU conducted a month-long investigation that culminated in the service of three warrants in Lane County on November 18.
One warrant was served in the 1800 block of M Street in Springfield, where EPD SCU arrested 39-year-old Heather Lee Brown and seized more than 500 grams of suspected methamphetamine and over 250 grams of suspected heroin, scales and packaging material, and approximately $16,000 in US Currency.
The second warrant was served in the 2700 block of Elysium Avenue where DINT and SCU had observed the above-mentioned DINT suspect receive approximately two pounds of suspected methamphetamine. Andrew George Solomon, age 40, was arrested for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine. A search of his residence yielded more than 100 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and US currency.
During the course of this investigation, Solomon had been observed frequenting a location in the 300 block of Rutledge Street in Eugene. Based on information obtained and surveillance conducted, it was believed this location was a stash house location for drugs being manufactured and sold by Solomon. A warrant was served at this location and approximately four pounds of suspected methamphetamine, one pound of suspected heroin, one pound of suspected cocaine, two pounds of suspected MDMA, seven firearms, digital scales and packaging material was seized.
Solomon was lodged at the Lane County Jail for Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Psilocybin Mushrooms. The investigation involving Solomon is continuing with numerous additional charges pending for the Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine, and MDMA, Child Neglect in the First Degree, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and the Criminal Conspiracy to Commit the Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine, and MDMA.
Brown was lodged at the Lane County Jail for the Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Heroin, the Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Heroin (Substantial Quantity), and two counts of Child Neglect in the First Degree.
Stephen Scott Rochelle, age 62, was referred to the Lane County Circuit Court for charges of the Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony, 10 or more grams), Unlawful Possession of Cocaine (misdemeanor), and Conspiracy to Commit the Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine, and MDMA.
Tina LouAnn Rochelle was referred to the Lane County Circuit Court for charges of the Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony, 10 or more grams), and Conspiracy to Commit the Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Cocaine, and MDMA.
