Indigenous hip-hop lecture and workshop with Jonah Francese (Otomí Hñähñu), Oct. 14
Students and employees are invited to join Jonah Francese (Otomí Hñähñu), a Ph.D. candidate in ethnomusicology on Oct. 14. Francese will lecture on the history of Native hip-hop. A workshop will be held at 7 p.m. where those in attendance can learn about the craft of hip-hop and write their own lyrics over beats.
