Hunter Nadeau Indicted on First Degree Murder and Other Charges from Shooting Incident in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 20, 2025

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the Hillsborough County Grand Jury in Nashua has returned indictments against Hunter Nadeau, age 24, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at a country club in Nashua on September 20, 2025.
Hunter Nadeau has been charged with alternative counts of purposeful first-degree murder and reckless second-degree murder for the shooting death of Rob DeCesare.

Hunter Nadeau also has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, one for shooting Steve Burtman, and one for separately shooting at a group of people several feet away from him (Nadeau).

Lastly, Hunter Nadeau has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, for purposely causing bodily injury to Steve Burtman and to Brianna Surette by shooting each with a firearm.

The charges and allegations against Hunter Nadeau are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
