TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County I 95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists there will be overnight multi-lane closures on northbound I-95 (Monday through Thursday) for bridge work; southbound Route 896 will have overnight lane closures from Monday through Thursday for drainage work and barrier removal; northbound I-95 will have daytime lane closures (Tuesday - ; Thursday) for bridge and concrete barrier work, and the continuous right lane closure on southbound Route 896 over I-95 remains in place.

I-95 AND RAMP IMPACTS
· Monday, November 18th through Thursday, November 21st: Overnight Multi-lane Closure, Northbound I-95 between the Toll Plaza and the Route 896 Interchange. (7PM - 5AM)

· Tuesday, November 19th: Overnight Lane Closure, Southbound I-95 between the Welcome Center and the Route 896 Interchange. (7PM - 7AM)

· Tuesday, November 19th: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95 between the Rt. 896 Interchange and the Welcome Center. (9AM - 6PM)

· Wednesday, November 20th: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95 between the Toll Plaza and the Route 896 Interchange. (9AM - 12PM)

· Thursday, November 21st: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95 between the Route 896 Interchange and the Welcome Center. (9AM -6PM)

Route 896 IMPACTS
· Monday, November 18th through Thursday November 21: Overnight Lane Closure, Southbound SR 896 between Welsh Tract Road and I-95 NB on ramp:

· Monday November 18 through Wednesday, November 20th: (10PM - 5AM)

· Thursday, November 21st: (11PM - 5AM)

· Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 21st: Overnight Lane Closure, Northbound & Southbound Route 896 between the I-95 Interchange and the Old Baltimore Pike:

· Wednesday, November 20th: (10PM - 6AM)

· Thursday, November 21st: (11PM - 6AM)

· Continuous through Friday, November 29th: Around the Clock Right Lane Closure, Southbound Route 896 over I-95.
