Notice of Public Hearing - Closeout of State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreements NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF EUREKA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Eureka will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber at Eureka City Hall, located at531 K Street, Eureka, California 95501, to consider the following item:

SUBJECT: CLOSEOUT OF STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AGREEMENTS

The City of Eureka will present the accomplishments completed under State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Agreements 20-CDBG-CV1, 20-CDBG-CV2, and 20-CDBG-CV3. A brief overview of the funded programs and activities will be presented, along with key accomplishments that will be reported to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) as part of the grant closeout process. The City will also solicit public comment regarding the use of funds and outcomes related to the above agreements.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: The purpose of the public hearing is to provide residents with an opportunity to offer comments on the activities undertaken and the use of CDBG funds. Any member of the public may appear at the hearing and be heard on the item described in this notice. Written comments may also be submitted in advance of the meeting to:
