History Club

Monday, July 14 from 7 to 8 p.m.; for ages 18+
The History Club meets on the second Monday of each month to discuss local history, Texas history, or American history topics that cover a wide range of interests. Attendance can be in person or via Zoom. Please contact Caris Brown for more information.

The topic for July 14 is the Library of the San Jacinto Museum.

Join us as we explore how light moves, bends, and creates. There will be hands-on activities to spark the imagination.

Double Feature Friday (Teen Room)

Friday, July 18 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.; for ages 12 to 18
Experience an afternoon of animated fun with two beloved classics! Watch Ratatouille (2007, G) and The Incredibles (2004, PG) for a double dose of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable characters. Remember to bring your friends and snacks!

Feeling crafty? We'll supply the materials, you bring the ideas. Drop in, try something new, and craft alongside fellow teens!

Through meditation, we can cope with the stresses of life. Meditation helps us replace anxiety with joy and peace. Join Daya Sharma, long time meditator, for this informative lecture. There will even be a short meditation sitting.
