City of Bellflower Earns National Financial Reporting Award for 32nd Straight Year
The City of Bellflower's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for FY 2024-25 has received the Government Finance Officers Association's (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, marking the City's 32nd consecutive year receiving this recognition.
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition for excellence in state and local government financial reporting. To earn the award, an annual comprehensive financial report must be easily readable, efficiently organized and meet generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of one year only.
The GFOA also presented the City's Finance Department with the Award of Financial Reporting Achievement in recognition of its role in preparing the award-winning report.
