PUNTA GORDA, FL (May 7, 2026) - The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA) announces that Brian M. Solis has joined the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) as its Director of Air Service Development. Brian will report to Chief Marketing Officer Kaley R. Miller, and will lead PGD's air service growth strategy by building relationships with new airline partners to introduce additional routes and destinations.
Brian spent the majority of his professional career with the Lee County Port Authority at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), where he served as Manager of Air Service Development. In this role, he was responsible for identifying and securing new air service opportunities while enhancing capacity and frequency across existing routes. Brian's aviation career began with roles across multiple airports and airlines such as Delta Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, AirTran Airways, and others, where he gained experience in customer service, distribution planning and airline systems. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for delivering measurable growth in passenger traffic, expanding route networks, and strengthening airport competitiveness through data-driven decision-making and collaborative stakeholder engagement.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) from University of South Florida. As a long-time resident of Cape Coral, he will remain engaged in the southwest Florida community while developing new relationships in Charlotte County.
