Lowering of the County Flag: William "Bill" Caswell

This is to advise that Commissioner President Reuben B. Collins, II, Esq., has ordered the Charles County flag to be lowered to half-staff effective immediately. The flag will be returned to full staff at sunset on March 13, 2026. The Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., regrets to announce the passing of Treasurer and Life Member William "Bill" Caswell. Mr. Caswell passed away on March 8, 2026, at Charles Regional Medical Center. Please keep Bill's family, as well as his Fire and EMS family, in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
