Bettendorf Fire Responds to 3196 Sunburst Drive
May 10, 2026 - On Sunday, May 10, 2026, at 3:18 a.m., the Bettendorf Fire Department (BFD) was dispatched to a report of a possible structure fire.
On arrival, crews found smoke conditions coming from the roof and upon a 360-degree assessment of the house, it was found that there was a fire inside of the garage.
All occupants, including a dog, made it out of the home with no issue. Crews extended a hose line and extinguished the fire, preventing any extension into the house.
There were no injuries to the occupants or firefighters. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
