Mayor Commends Officer Osborne, First Responders in Tragic Fire

Officer Jeremiah Osborne was among the officers honored for their role in a tragic fire in January.

Mayor Danise "Deedee" Henriquez personally commend each of the department's members who, on January 23rd, responded to the deadly fire at 1010 Emma Street.

"Despite the heroic efforts of these professional men and women, four members of the resident family eventually lost their lives," said Mayor Henriquez in the commendation. "These professional, dedicated first responders went above and beyond in their effort to quell the fire quickly and administer aid to the victims. Each and every one is to be commended for devotion to duty in the most difficult of circumstances."
