SEMO Names Bradford VP for Finance & Administration

Southeast Missouri State University has named Dr. Corey Bradford, Sr., vice president for finance and administration (VPFA).

Bradford was selected following a national search. He will begin his duties June 15.

The VPFA is SEMO's chief financial officer and reports to University President Brad Hodson. The role also serves as treasurer of the Board of Governors and the Southeast Missouri University Foundation as well as overseeing the Budget Office, Controllers Office, Information Technology, Human Resources, University Police Department, and Facilities Management.

"Dr. Bradford brings a breadth of experience in university financials from institutions both in our region and across the nation," said Hodson. "He has been successful in securing additional research funding, establishing partnerships, and increasing the financial health of his institutions. I look forward to partnering with him at a time when higher education faces challenging financial headwinds to strengthen SEMO's fiscal future."

Bradford has a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He has a Master of Science in applied mathematics and statistics and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics studies from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He has held finance and administration roles at SIU-C, Prairie View A&M, and Governors State University.
