DISTRICT ATTORNEY TO HOST PUBLIC MEETING ON MILITARY EQUIPMENT POLICY

Monterey County District Attorney Jeannine M. Pacioni announced today that the District Attorney's Office will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 142 West Alisal Street, Suite A, Salinas, to discuss the Office's military equipment use policy and annual report.

Members of the public are invited to attend, ask questions, and provide comments regarding Policy 705 and the Office's acquisition and use of military equipment.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for community discussion before the proposed ordinance update is considered by the Monterey County Board of Supervisors. Introduction is planned for November 17, 2026, with adoption scheduled for December 8, 2026.

All interested community members are welcome to attend.
