CR 235 at Newberry Lane Traffic Pattern Change – Be Prepared to Stop

On Monday, Feb. 23, 2026, Alachua County Public Works, in cooperation with the City of Newberry, will be converting the intersection of County Road 235 and Newberry Lane to an All-Way-Stop controlled intersection.
Currently, traffic traveling along CR 235 does so under a free flow condition, meaning that traffic on CR 235 is not required to stop, while traffic on Newberry Lane is.
Beginning on Monday, Feb. 23, drivers at this intersection should be prepared to stop.
